I SEE YOU—WORKING YOUR ASS OFF IN TECH.

You’re exceeding goals, building products, collaborating with the best of them. You’re really good at what you do.

But you’ve hit a ceiling.

You *know* there’s more out there for you—
More money. More balance. More remote. More challenge. More.

Let’s just get this whole job search thing out of the way first, shall we?

HELLO THERE. I’M ERIKA.

I’m a self-proclaimed SaaS nerd, unapologetic LinkedIn addict, and Job Search Strategist for the Tech Industry.

See, I think the secret to landing a role that continues you on your growth path is getting clear on what you want and unlocking the motivations of the teams who are hiring for it.

And I want to help you navigate the ins and outs of getting those tech industry jobs that seem like they’re locked away and out of reach.

And have I mentioned? I’m so glad you’re here.

I’M A REBEL WITH A CAUSE.

And I’m here to help job seekers nail their job searches with better intel and a clear strategy.

Seriously, I know how messed up the job search process is. I’ve sat on the other side hiring leaders for more than 10 years and I’ve heard the same feedback coming from hiring manager’s mouths (and their interview notes) day-in-and-day-out.

The wild thing? It’s the stuff *no one ever hears* outside the interview debrief!

My guess is—as someone who’s grown teams—you’ve probably said some of it yourself.

So now it’s time to turn that mirror back on yourself. Because I believe at my core that the entire industry thrives when job seekers are empowered to succeed in their searches.

I’m helping you see what hiring teams are actually looking at

So you can stop stressing about the shit that doesn’t matter—
like your resume font or if your elevator pitch comes in under a minute—
and spend your time building the strategies that do.

Guiding Principles

  • People aren’t inherently “good” or “bad” at job searching.

You don’t do this every day. But when you find the right fit, the pieces fall into place and it starts to feel easier.

  • If you’re not striking out, you’re not playing hard enough.

Did you know the average batting average in the MLB is .244? Even the pros strike out more than they hit the ball. You will too. And that’s ok.

  • Let's skip the compliment sandwich.

When we create a safe space to share the tough feedback, you can accelerate getting to where you ultimately want to go.

  • You are worth investing in.

Our value goes far beyond our compensation. When you start to invest in yourself, others will invest in you too.

  • There's always a better way.

No matter how awesome things are going, there’s always room for improvement. I always strive for that extra inch.

I run on ambition and light roast coffee.

(And the occasional IPA.)

My absolute favorite part of my job is the lightbulb “I never thought of it that way before” moments people have along the journey—when they start to flip their perspective and all the sudden the path clears in front of them to that next didn’t-even-think-to-dream-it job.

I live in Los Angeles with my husband Aaron, our kiddo Ford, and our doggo Janet. My mom and step-dad supply my own personal secret stash of fresh roasted coffee from their little house and little roaster in the backyard.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER.

I don’t use the phrase “dream job” but some of my clients do,
and they tell me they found theirs through our work together.

“Only had one call with you so far but I can already tell you're a rare talent, it's cool to see you doing something you love!”
